Our group attended ACS Spring 2016 meeting in San Diego

Andriy Voronov, Zoriana Demchuk, and Oksana Zholobko travel to San Diego, CA on March, 13-17, 2016 to attend semi-annual American Chemical Society meeting and give oral presentations at the 13th International Symposium on Biorelated Polymers (Division of Polymer Chemistry).
Voronov’s presentation was entitled “Responsive polymer-mediated targeted delivery of curcumin to osteosarcoma”. At the Symposium, Zoriana presented her data on “Synthesis of bio-based copolymers via free radical polymerization of novel vinyl monomer from soybean oil” and Oksana discussed topic of “Synthesis and characterization of stable polypyrrole nanospheres”. Our group brought also two poster presentations to San Diego. The poster “Soybean-based polymer surfactants for personal care application” was presented by Zoriana at joint POLY-PMSE session of Polymeric Materials: Science and Engineering (PMSE) and Polymer Chemistry Division (POLY). Oksana presented her work on “New amphiphilic polymers for peptide complexation” at the same poster session.

Voronov presents at Advisory Panel

Voronov gives an invited presentation at Coatings/Inks & Adhesives/Paper Technical Advisory Panel organized by United Soybean Board on March,15-17, 2016 in St.Louis, Mo. The title of the presentation is “New Polymeric Materials from Soy-Based Monomers and Vinyl Acetate”.
