Oksana Zholobko successfully defended her PhD dissertation entitled “Engineered Functional Colloids from Responsive Polymers and Peptides/Polypeptides” . Oksana obtained her Master of Science in Chemical Technology of Food Additives in 2011, visited NDSU as Short-Term Research Fellow in 2013 and joined our group in January 2015. Congratulations on her successful defense!
New funding of up to $52,522 is received from North Dakota Corn Council for the project “New Corn Oil-Based Monomer Synthesis for Latex Application in Coatings and Paints”. This work begins on July,1,2019 and is for one year. This is a new research project targeting new polymers and polymeric materials based on corn oil.
